Specifications:
When selecting stretch film, it’s important to consider the specific specifications of the film. These include the gauge of the film, which measures the thickness of the plastic; the width of the film, which refers to the maximum length of a single roll; the length of the film, which measures how much film there is per roll; and the ultimate break point, which measures the tensile strength of the film when it is stretched.
Selecting the Right Type:
When selecting the right type of stretch film, it’s important to take into account the type of items you’ll be wrapping, as well as the environment in which they’ll be stored or transported. For example, heavier items may require a stronger and thicker film than lighter items, while outdoor environments may require a UV-resistant film. Once you’ve identified the type of film you need, you can compare different types and brands to find the one that best suits your needs.
